Mark Kempler,

Thank you for having the trust and confidence in me to handle such an honor as the Tournament Director. A TD can only be effective by being surrounding by a strong Team.

Stacy Gaines and Tony Cubbedge had open arms from day one. with the postponement of the event in 2020 we were determined to make 2021 not only happen, but let the local community as well as the paddle tennis community know that Paddle Tennis is still very much a live! We had many volunteers that all played an intricate part of this team, one of which, Roger Roger S. Diiorio forming a Court Tech Team with Guy Morrison. Along with their guidance, Edward Morrison, Craig Flaherty, Gary Gammon, Aaron Rimel, Ron Fudala, Tony Cubbedge, Josh Fudala, Burt Braddock.

Lynn Haley Merulla, and Anthony Marulla works hard on a simpler way to mark out the courts with a pre measured pvc template.

Stacy’s attention to detail with our committee meetings, crossing the “T’s and doting the “I’s”, arranging the fantastic catering pounding the pavement for sponsorships. She was focused on a strong event!

Tony’s constant communications with the county getting permitting and making sure things were in line with St John’s County prior to the event!

Carl Victor Reich played an awesome role with the computer tech side, getting us aligned with online payments, combining email groups for me to E-Blast with, to posting scores along with draws, and yes fantastic images for many to show off your weekend with!

At the Registration/check-in desk I had the help of Asha Rimel and Donna Reich handling player packs, Asha with her (much cleaner handwriting than mine) on the draw boards !

Donna keeping the catering layouts for the party’s in line for you to enjoy.

Lynn Haley Merulla and another wonderful T-Shirt design! Thank you Sherri Notwatski for the use of the on site 10 gallon water jugs.

Mark, It was enjoyable to see you making your way around the tourney site, watching, visiting with long time friends, meeting the new blood and your family getting to watch but also see you not having to work behind the scenes. ( Although you did have to lend a helping hand a few times) !

Thank you to all the players for making this event a “ Super Event” to be involved with
